Peninsula Marina is located on beautiful Barren River Lake, two miles from Barren River Dam off of Hwy. 252 on Hwy 2065.

The marina has men’s and women’s bathrooms, 100% ethanol-free gas pumps, and an extensive store including snacks, drinks, boat supplies, and ice.
Previously named Sawyer Landing from 1992 to 2004, the marina became Peninsula Marina when Tim and Marty Craycroft purchased it in May 2004. The Rubrights purchased the marina in 2019 and are committed to offering the best marina and service available.
The marina currently has 264 slips.
Rubright Marinas was formed in 2017 when Nate and Jim Rubright acquired Gallatin Marina in Gallatin, Tennessee. Ben Rubright joined as an owner when the family purchased Peninsula Marina.
The Rubrights later acquired Barren River State Dock and Marina and The Boathouse at Benders Ferry. Their highest priority is customer satisfaction, with a focus on safe, fun, family-friendly environments across every marina.
